Copyright is a law that protects creative work, such as books, songs, photos, videos and games. When someone makes something original, they own the right to decide how it is copied and shared. Finding a picture online doesn't make it free to use. Look for images marked for reuse, such as those with a Creative Commons license, and follow its rules. Many licenses only ask that you give credit to the creator, along with a link to the original.
